this piece uses a mexican tin nicho in the shape of a heart,
with doors that open to reveal a lampwork glass heart in the still center.
it can be hung or placed on a stand.
this art shrine is meant to lift the soul in times of doubt and paralysis. when it becomes so vital to choose life.
seeing a bird fly can be the moment you realize that it takes just that one moment of courage to open,
to unfold wings and to trust and rise. there are images of the tree of life, the wisdom owl totem, the day
of the dead skeleton..all is a circle circumscribing the heart.
